Synopsis
Eva (Odessa Young), a 19th-century widow, is tasked with making an impossible choice when, in the midst of a particularly brutal winter, a ship sinks off the coast of her isolated fishing outpost. Eve and her crew must choose between rescuing the castaways or surviving the winter on the last of their remaining food. Faced with the consequences of their choices and riddled with guilt, the villagers struggle with a growing sense of dread and come to believe that everyone is being punished for their choices.
