• In 2011, the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) established national standards for recovery residences (including sober housing).
• Through the Center for Community Recovery Innovations (CCRI), MassHousing provides grants to promote the creation and preservation of affordable housing for individuals in recovery and their families.
• The Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing (MASH) plays a critical role in supporting individuals in recovery by ensuring access to high-quality sober living environments across Massachusetts.
• The Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing (MASH) is involved in several key initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and safety of sober living environments across the state.
• When leaving treatment, many men and women have limited options.

Sober living home information is provided by sober house operators. We try to provide current information but cannot monitor every recovery home listing and do not guarantee the accuracy of listings. Research the home before you make a decision. • The house managers will assist in helping her settle in and become familiar with the house rules and daily routine.

Policies and procedures for ongoing performance development of staff appropriate to staff roles and residence level. Policies that value individuals chosen for leadership roles who are versed and trained in the Social Model of recovery and best practices of the profession. • At Teras, our experienced team, plus ancillary providers, provide a high level of support for clients to take action in a recovery fellowship, and engage outside structure.

• Established in 2007 by a group of sober home operators, MASH was founded to address the need for consistent standards and accountability within the sober housing community.
• Through these grants, MASH addresses critical needs, including helping individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness find stable housing​.
• Vanderburgh Sober Living (VSL) is a network of independently operated sober homes organized and supported by The Vanderburgh Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 Charitable Foundation.

House Rules in Sober Houses A sober house is often considered to be the br.. (v) verify good standing with regard to local, state and federal laws and any regulations and ordinances including, but not limited to, building, maximum occupancy, fire safety and sanitation codes. Amenities include on site laundry, air conditioning, parking, full kitchens, living/dining rooms and quick access to public transportation.
